I print with lithography stones and do etchings. I also print the dry point technique with acrylic/plexiglass plates as a way to implement my images, ready to print in a timely matter. Mixed with a touch of fantasy I use lines and pattern to create my land- and cityscapes. Creatures, dreamlike plants, and objects are developed with forms and shapes, some with or without references, than grown into images. Some work includes a natural botanical, or have a fantasy element.
Travels through Europe, and also through the United States influences me, capturing ideas from destinations of ancient and modern architecture, landscapes and organic forms. Combining subjects from manmade designs with nature’s own architectural engineering intrigues me. |
