About Us

WHO WE ARE

Our members are active artists practicing in diverse disciplines. We participate in many local functions, particularly the Summer Celebration in July.

Our monthly Featured Artist is celebrated at First Friday, a wine and cheese event that is well attended by the public.  We strive to be a good neighbor and contribute to the well being of our downtown area.

PURPOSE AND MISSION

As artists, we strive for excellence, personal artistic growth and professionalism in presentation. We try to keep the number of artists to about thirty.  Artists are chosen whose work compliments existing work in the gallery.

HISTORY

In 2002, local resident and Estacada Area Arts Commissioner Jami Berry first opened The Spiral Gallery.  Estacada and the surrounding communities were so full of talented artists, she wanted a place to showcase their work. By mid-2004, Jami decided to turn the gallery into a cooperative.  The artists agreed and it then became an artists' cooperative with full participation by all members.

WHERE WE ARE

The Spiral Gallery is a co-op art gallery located in Estacada Oregon, on the beautiful Clackamas River in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.  Located about 30 minutes from Portland, we attract a number of urban and suburban visitors to our exciting gallery in addition to a supportive local crowd.
