We're thrilled to celebrate an exciting milestone for our member artist Kristina Sellers, who has been awarded First Place in the 2026 Pacific Northwest Lavender Paint Out at the Willamette Valley Lavender Festival in Newberg, Oregon.

Held annually at the Chehalem Cultural Center, the Willamette Valley Lavender Festival brings together talented artists from across the Pacific Northwest to capture the beauty of Oregon's lavender fields through the tradition of plein air painting—creating artwork outdoors, directly from life. The festival is recognized for celebrating the unique connection between art, nature, and community.

Kristina's award-winning painting reflects not only the stunning landscapes of Oregon's lavender country but also her ability to capture light, atmosphere, and the peaceful beauty of the outdoors. Competing alongside many accomplished artists, earning the top honor is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to her dedication and artistic vision.
